Burdwan Homoeopathic Medical College Alumni Association was established in the year 2017. Few ex-students of Burdwan Homoeopathic Medical College ( Dr.Premankur Mukherjee, Dr.Sajal Bhattacherjee, Dr.Mrinmoy Banerjee, Dr. Subrata Bhunia, Dr.Amritendu Saha, Dr. Bappaditya Biswas, Dr. Palash Rakshit, Dr. Arijit Ghosh, Dr. Biswajit Mukherj ) first realised the value of old memories of college life as well as value of old friendship. Also, they planned how to coordinate between all ex-students & teachers, current students & teachers & how to develop our college both economically & academically. So, they meet together at Burdwan town & planned for a Reunion programme which was held first time at “Panthasala” guest house of Burdwan Municipality on a auspicious day of Dr Samual Hahnemann’s birth day on 10.4.2017. After 2017, the Reunion Programme was held on every 10th April on Dr.Hahnemann’s birth day at “Panthasala” till up to 2019. We meet with our college authority several times to permit our association by college authority & this struggle was continued for three years through several meetings with college authority. Finally on 2022 our college authority along with the Governing body accepted our appeal & realised the importance of reunion formation. Our college authority also gives us a small land in favour of our Alumni Association to make an Association’s building. Our Alumni Association was flourished in the proper structure in the year 2022 . This Association was properly registered with Byelaws in the year 2022 under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI OF 1961, on 18th day of November 2022, Registration No: S0032048 of 2022 – 2023. We formed a registered committee on 2022. Thanks to Governing bodies of Burdwan Homoeopathic College, Dr. Lalit Baran Chakrabarty & Dr. Asim Kumar Samanta, who raised their helping hand for the formation & registration of Alumni Association under West Bengal Government society act.

The Alumni Association of Burdwan Homoeopathic Medical College is a dynamic and dedicated community of past students, committed to supporting the growth and development of both the college and its alumni. Established with the purpose of fostering a lifelong bond between the institution and its graduates, the association serves as a platform for networking, collaboration, and mutual growth. Through various initiatives, we aim to contribute to the college’s academic and infrastructural advancements while enhancing the professional and personal lives of our members. The association encourages active participation in social, educational, and cultural activities that reflect the ideals and values instilled by Burdwan Homoeopathic Medical College. Important Activities
1. Alumni association organizes reunion every year.
2. Conducted every year an Annual General Body meeting of the Alumni.
3. Organised many successful free Health check-up camp in various places.
4. Alumni Association heartly organised condolence for Lt. Dr. Dilip Chowdhury who was our beloved teacher & ex principal, on that day Alumni Association bear total expense of fooding free of cost for more than three hundred members.
5. Alumni Association organised farewell ceremony for our respected teachers.
6. Alumni Association felicitate our Alumni’s doctors ( batch wise ) every year in reunion programme with a “Certificate of Excellence”.
7. From the time of its registration Alumni Association have played an active role in guiding the present students as well as registered doctors in many ways.

About Burdwan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital
Burdwan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, which is dedicated to provide quality education to the youth, is conveniently located at heart of Burdwan City at Nibark Bhaban, Rajganj. Nutanganj, Burdwan - 713102, west Bengal. Burdwan is a historical place where Mughal and Hindu kings ruled for years. Our College is located at king's religious field "Mahanto Asthal" stretching over a Sprawling 7.13 Acres of land, still possessing some prestigious heritage building including cinematic holy Radha-Krishna Temple fully constructed with precious stones having beautiful old sculptures. The precious land and building of our college has graciously been donated by his highness Sri Radha Kanta Saran Dev Mahanto Maharaj by a deed of Settlement on 30.06.1979. The college authority as per its further need in addition to old buildings, it built another two separate buildings, one for the college purpose and the other for Hospital purpose. It has spacious OPD surrounding the old heritage buildings.We have also separate staff quarter and hostel for Boys within the campus. Beside college, hospital, heritage building we possess separate Football, Cricket, Volley and Badminton ground with other Indoor game facilities within same college premises. This college, from the educational and cultural point of view is the best Homoeopathic Institute in W.B. which is accessible by, train, bus and other means of communication. Nearest Railway station is Burdwan Junction what is only 2 K.M. away while capital city Kolkata is only 95 K.M. away
